Andon Board is a visual inspection equipment usually lit and placed above the level of production in the area, by providing information about the current state of the production system and warning team members about upcoming problems.
Andon board is a software supported electronic system developed to help businesses, see and to minimize manufacturing costs. Andon is only lamps and lamp columns at first, then lamp groups and lamp groups turned into billboards. With the development technology, digital dashboards with LEDs are spread. With the development in PC PLC technology, these become not only a signal collecting panels, a complete visual management tool, process control tool. With using LCD/PlasmaTV in Trex DCAS Andon boards, all the displayed information, text, graphics can be changed instantly. One TV can be divided more than one sub-sections(lines). Displays on the screen may change, many different information can be shown.
